How to Get Your Voter Ball Rolling!

To begin, press the PLAY button below:

Embed This Starter Video On Your Site!

Of course, there's always more than one way to roll:

It's truly wonderful
how much you can do
with just one vote!

For instance, thanks in part to your single vote in choosing to visit this blog, before you know it, the above American Voters Video will be full of sounds, and words, and music -- and many many images of voters just like you, expressing themselves.

NOTE: If you'd like to express yourself in the video, just print out this paper-sized poster and have a friend take a picture of you holding it up.

Feel free to smile (and maybe even raise a friendly peace sign).

Or pose the poster with your favorite pet.

Be creative!

And Get Your Voter Ball Rolling!

Then upload your one vote picture(s) to the internet.

If you don't already have your own online photo album yet, here's a quick, easy, and FREE way to upload your picture(s) and video(s). Plus, it automatically creates permalink hyperlinks to your pictures for you. Which is cool, because it also provides a box to enter an email address to send your links out to your family and friends.

If you email us link(s) to your photo(s), we'll put them in the video.

It's really that simple.

You vote.

Then your vote gets counted.

- - - How can you help the campaign? - - -

With only your single vote, there's a whole lot you can do!

1. Print out this free paper-sized poster! *

(or get the official i am one vote t-shirt)!

2. Post the poster!

(or wear the t-shirt around town!)

Or do all four!

* To print out the paper-sized poster, use your computer's File/Print Preview option after clicking here or clicking here.

BONUS OPTIONS:

3. Photograph yourself holding up the poster or wearing the shirt.

4. Upload your photo(s) to your blogs and/or websites.

5. Get yourself into the American Voters Video.

- - - What else can you do? - - -

Wear the shirt as often as possible from now until
election day, thus inspiring others to vote, and
you'll be helping to make American history! *

It's a great conversation starter!

(especially AFTER the election).

And it's even better when your candidate wins!

Likewise, you can print out multiple copies of the
paper-sized poster and pin them up at work, at school,
at the library, and anywhere else you can think up --
including hanging them on your car window.

NOTE: For you enthusiastic people who want to take
the Seven-Days-a-Week-T-Shirt-Wearing Pledge
(for all of September and October and Novemeber), we
offer you an extra special discount on the t-shirts. *

Have fun with all of the possibilities!

* One for each house you own, if you're that rich.

- - - Election Day 2008 - - -

Take a proud picture (or video) of yourself wearing the
i am one vote t-shirt while you're actually voting at the
polls in November. (Alert the media!)

Then say interesting things into the video camera or make
interesting poses, etc., and you'll get yourself into the
How to Improve America movie.

Any questions?

- - - Movie? What movie? - - -

The pictures and/or videos of yourself wearing the t-shirt (and/or holding up the poster) will be included in the content of a two hour film we're making about improving America.

Portions of your purchase of the t-shirts will help fund the film project. So, just like America, the quality of our filming success depends partly on you, the voter.

Talk about a grassroots effort, huh?

Any other questions?

- - - Do you accept MC and Visa? - - -

We're in the process of setting up credit card ordering and it should be online sometime next week. If you can't wait that long, go ahead and order from our main page and we'll send you an invoice which you can pay by check.

Any other questions?

When it comes to positive, fun, productive projects like this, money is no object.

Right?

So be sure to order as many t-shirts as you can possibly afford and give them away to family, friends, lovers, poker buddies, co-workers, neighbors, hired hands, homeless folks, toll-booth collectors, waitresses, your personal golf caddy (assuming you're a Republican), your boss (assuming you're a Democrat), etc..

The thinking goes something like this: The more shirts you buy, and the more people you give them to, the more likely you are NOT going to neglect to vote (and/or neglect to encourage others likewise).

NOTE: Be sure to take pictures of your friends wearing the shirts -- perhaps laughing about your optimistic American Democracy gesture of giving them the i am one vote shirt (and send in those photos in to us, too!). We'll post them in the blog along with your comments, or we'll put them in the video, or maybe even in the film. If they're REALLY good, perhaps all three.

You might even consider taking short videos of these folks, or perhaps interviewing them about their various voting thoughts while they're wearing the t-shirt you gave them, and then put your video up on YouTube.com to inspire others.

Any other questions?

Yes, we're working on a major book deal, too!

Working title: Voting For Dummies

Is that a funny double-whammy or what?

Well, it's important to keep your sense of humor (and perspective), isn't it?

I doubt we'll keep that title because far too many people might get offended, especially the ones voting for the wrong candidate.

Any other questions?

Don't forget to upload your picture(s) to your own
blogs and websites as well as sending them to us.

Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, etc..

That way all of the people who visit your sites will see
you wearing the shirt and be able to join in on all of
the democracy fun once they click over to our page.

- - - That's all for now. - - -

Except to remind you to send this blog link to all of your friends:

A slogan we're considering:

It's more than just a shirt.

It's a state of mind.

ba'dum, chsh!

"State."

Get it?

As a voter, you're stating your state about the state of the states.

The United States, that is.

...

This democracy brought to you by, for, and of
the People of the United States of America.

Get your own i am one vote t-shirts today!

From Our MySpace Page

iamonevote.com

You are one vote, too (as you well know).

We've started this campaign to help make your (and our) votes count. And count. And count. And count.

How, you ask?

Well, for starters, by encouraging people to go beyond voting just on election day.

To suggest to everyone that they can vote a little bit every single day by simply reminding and encouraging others to vote -- maybe even engaging in a few friendly conversations with folks about the "issues" they might care about -- hopefully getting at least a minor understanding of each other's points of view (if and when their opinions differ about one silly thing or another).

So, anyway, that's one reason why you yourself might want to consider participating in our humble i am one vote campaign. And if so, perhaps you wouldn't mind placing one of our gently amusing banners on your own web page(s)?

That sure would be a fine start and would help the campaign quite a bit. And it only takes a few short minutes. Just copy and paste the code.

And once the i am one vote campaign banner is up on your page it will serve as a constant reminder to you and all of your page's visitors that, in a healthy democracy, even you (and they) are votes to earn. And votes to cast.

Well, thanks in advance for considering the potential benefits of helping to preserve and promote Freedom and Democracy in America. AND thanks for at least reflecting ever so slightly about the prospect of somehow working just a wee tiny bit to _maybe_ make something better somewhere (instead of worse) in some utterly small but feasibly useful and worthwhile way.

OK. We admit it: Yes, we're optimists!

There, are you happy now?

If the answer is yes, while you're at it, you might as well go ahead and put us in your top friends thinger. See how optimistic we really are? Well, anyway... whatever the case may be...

Have a nice day!

Who I'd like to meet:

A long friendly line at the voting booth.
